Finally Kurdistan Government Become United!

Barzani annouced that they have reached to an agreement , and Kurdistan regional government will be annouced soon , after parliament approval.

he said this is a Gift for the Celebration (I guess he means Ghorban celebration)

is that really true ?

acording to agreement ,

until 2007 the Prime Minstter will be KDP , and the head of parliament would be PUK.

and in 2008 if they couldnt run a election, PM would be PUK and head of parlimanet would be KDP.

some ministires have been put for other kurdish parties. (what ministiry can be left...they have named everything...)

why Kurdistan has that many minstires ... a big country like Iran has less than half the nubmer of kurdistan minstiries.

Let's hope that, this time, they will REALLY make a united governement, and not only the time of a press conference...

Concerning the number of ministries, it depends on governement's will. In france, when they want to restrain the national financesand expenses, they have a few number of ministries. We could guess that Kurdish government expects a lot of money !

Yes,Turkish tvs showed too.They shared responsibilty and made agreement between them.I really felt very happy because of that.I hope this decision won't break.In a different wiewpoint,maybe they can unite their power by the time and can use one united power.They can reorganise military,political units...It is very good step,i am very happy about that.And thanks to Barzani because his decision is very important about that.He made well.

Kurdistan Government Unifies. Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani will keep his position as Prime Minister and his deputy will be from PUK.


PUK will run the ministries of Human Rights, Interior, Justice, Education, Health, Social Affairs, Water Resources, Transportation, Reconstruction, Planning and Religious Affairs.


KDP will run the ministries of Peshmerga Affairs, Agriculture, Finance, Municipalities, Higher Educating, Electricity, Youth and Sports, Foreign Affairs and Culture.

Congratulation to every Kurd , now jaffari cant repeat this saying :
"to whom I should give Kirkuk to , PUK or KDP ?"
because his answer would be"niether to KPD nor to PUK , but to KRG"
