It was not so much for PKK at the beginning. Then PKK managed to put some men in the political bureau Murat Bozlak had a lot of problem with PKK and still can't speak freely. PKK managed to make HADEP closed (remember the PKK flag at an hadep meeting?)because it can't tolerate any opposition within the kurdish movement. All HADEP mayors were removed and DEHAP members put at their place. This is not the same.
Turkey did not close DEHAP did it?

No I didn't dare! I took photos though. And for the bumper cars I was depressed: they were so much better than what we had in my village in France every september...
