If Turkey enter EU,there will be no fight for North Kurdistan.Because Kurds will feel more relax.And Turkey will give a bit of their freedom.But the main idea for trying to enter EU is different i think.USA came Iraq near of Turkey.And USA's relation with Turkey is not so cool.Eveytime Turkish people is so angry and USA want to use Turkey and Turkey have no extra points against USA.Because there is a realty which all of the world know is we can'^t do with Turkey in peace.Turkey's habit and nature is not suitable for everybody.But USA don't want to lose Turkey's support at middle east action.In fact they don't want to fight with Turkey.England don't care EU much.And i don't think EU is not sims real mission for all Europe countries.America forced them to talk with Turkey.Easily they persuade EU and Turkey.And They started consultation with Turkey.I think England will force EU as they can to continue consultation with Turkey.Cause it is a present for America.Still Turkey want to attack and mingle America's politics in Iraq.But politics are saying we can't risk EU.And how we can mingle America.This 2 reason is sims right for people.America is not a country of a race,after the shamefull twin towers event,they must take their respect back for all costs.And they need partner like Kurds in North Iraq.They need us who know and fought for their land for too long time.And we are big population in iraq.And we prevent terorism in iraq.And new iraq have a new shape with us.And our leadr Talabani is going to America and saying thanks to America fo their help.And now America can't change our people to Turkey now.And EU consultations are helping to America for ceasefire with Turkey.And to press Turkey.And nowaday we are in better mood.If we can use this time,it will come back with a country at least in iraq.But we must don't let anybody to use us.We are used many times at past.But if we have too bad relations with Turkey when Usa will be gone we can be in trouble.We have to count it good.Yes,EU consultations are really cool but it is only chance for us.And i hope the opposite but nobody is doing it for our independent.And this is mu idea.As news i read i have an idea like this

Well - I don't identify myself with Norway... So kind of hard to take a stand...

I am pro-EU - and in about two or three years Norway will vote in a refferendum on EU membership - and I will be one of those who vote FOR it... I am not a farmer - so EU membership won't "hurt" me - it will make it easier for me as a citizen of Europe to travel, work, study, live and walk where I please in our GREAT EU... But as a European - I do not wish for Turkey to be a member of the EU - and THANK GOD THAT SCHROEDER wasn't elected - now we have an ANTI-TURKEY German state...

But don't you think that life will be more and more difficult for Kurds inTurkey if UE refuse its membership ? when you say

you're right but I think that Kurds of Hakkari, Diyarbekir, etc, would like to have the same advantages.

Yes, and consider that is turkey joins the EU democratic forces here will be stronger...
look at greece: they got rid of the dictature, they joined EU, dictature did not come back...

Nope... Sorry - I don't want Kurdistan divided between these two places called "Europe" and "Asia" - I want my Kurdistan to remain ONE... Or four like now with FEDERAL states... You know what? For the Northern Kurds - Southern Kurdistan is LIKE EU - Kurds in Southern Kurdistan are the Middle East EU - or should I say "M E U"(Middle East Union) So this is why Northern Kurds should NOT enter EU - so that they can join Southern Kurdistan...

Look - here is a map - areas with a Kurdish majority are in green as you can read in the legend:





We should when setting the borders for Kurdistan at LEAST go from KILIS to MARASH and then ZARA in North - to ERZINCAN and ERZERUM and QARS in East...

I'm just not sure that kurds in north kurdistan will hesitate a lot between EU and ME.....
