Yep, Ataturk promise to "Kurdish brothers". He needed kurdish tribes to crush french and italians in Ciliccia, Armenians in the north...And kurds were dumb enough to follow...

hey UPDATE : acording to radio farda , a confrence in washington was held by iranian opposition gorup and PDK-I also particpated in it , titled "the iran's land intergrity and iranian ethincs rights"
in this so called confrence of SO CALLED ethnic rights. the damn iranian opposition groups indicated Persian language is the language that Iranian peopel WILLINGLY has chosen it as their language...
they said those Evils who claim they are Nation are not nation... he said (for example Kurds...they were just a small tribe of Persians...now they claim they are a nation)
he said the problemsa re mullah, they have made everybody to feel like seprate his own home form iran .
in this confrence they played Iranian Anthem many f times.
i dont know what the hell this confrence had with Ethinc Rights, it was just Persian Racism Propagenda.
and I dont know why PDK-I particpated in such a shitty places.
I hate Persian opposition outside iran they are worse than Mullahs.
and PDK-I has always been so stupid that trusted to them .[like trusting Todah [semi-communists]]

And everywhere Persians pop up who say Kurds are Iranians.. on several forums.. not only this one.
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Of course Persians and Kurds are Iranians... like Ossetes, Beluch, Pashtun, etc. So what ? I am French then Latin, but it doesn't mean that I want to have Berlusconi for leader (Chirac/Villepin are enough like bad gang thanx).
