Where is written that millions Kurds and Turksare are married with eachother.

In Germany live more than 2,1 million Turks!

"Around 7.3 million foreigners live in Germany (11,2 percent of the total population)"

http://www.serve.com/shea/gerks.htm

So much foreigners don't live in Kurdistan!

How many black Africans live in France? About 10% are foreigners (6 mil. out of 60 mil.) And maybe more.

Spain?

How many Indonesians, Surinamese, Chinese, Turks, Moroccans live in Holland.

How many Pakistani live in England?

Because of previous war(s) and dangers in Kurdistan no foreigner wants to live Kurdistan. That’s why relatively (in percentage) in Kurdistan live less foreigners than in Turkye, Arab countries, Europe, etc. . Even with ‘lost’ cities like Mosul and some other in Turkye with very high Turkish population.

And most intermarriages are happening not in Kurdistan, but in big cities in Turkye, Europe atc.

And Kurds reproduce more children than Turks, so it's not a problem for us to handle Turkssss. And in Europe it’s a bigger problem since foreigners reproduce more children than native European population.

Maybe you are right. I think most Turks don't want to live in the Kurdish southeast and that most intermarriages are happening in big Turkish cities. Btw the report confirms this view.

The article also says that the number of intermixed marriage between Kurds and Turks is very low. In 1990 only 3 per cent of all marriages in which Turkish/kurdish partners were involved were intermarried. No more then 10 procent of the Kurds marry partners of another ethnic group, especially not in North-Kurdistan (Southeast Turkey).
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

I am against kurdish-turkish intermarriages in Turkey as stated in this article. Many kurds are nowadays living outside Kurdistan in turkish metropoles. I predict that in the future the majority of kurds will be living outside Kurdistan. Former president Özal even cosidered moving all the kurds into turkish metropoles as a solution of the kurdish (economical) problem.
The (high educated) kurdish men from the report who are marrying turkish ladies are mostly not too proud of their origins and i dont think they will teach their children kurdish. The kurdish women who wont find a kurdish man (if this trend keeps growing) and are left alone or are going to marry turks in absence of kurdish candidates, i doubt it if their kids will also learn kurdish.

To answer Diri's question why i personally wont marry a turkish lady. As you know i am not a pkk-symphatisant but i am kinda worse for them :p because i think in a way to let go all the turkish and arabic influence in my language, culture and religion. So i am a seperatist, not only considering my land, but even my life itself. The history of turkish assimilation has made me to think this way.
Lets say the girl is no nationalist (cause i dont like turkish nationalist) and also not a sheep (i also dont like it if she is ashamed of her origin and assimilates into my culture), then we would still have problems which i want to avoid. I dont like my children to be tought turkish as their motherlanguage, i dont like they will celebrate newroz one day and 23-nisan (children fest invented by ataturk) the other day... i also wouldnt feel comfortable having a turkish flag in my house or listening to turkish music, watching turkish tv. Our familys woulnt get together at best, and perhaps be hostile and breaking the band with us. So beside of silly Fato not letting me marry someone else  i am not tolerant enough for such a thing to happen and dont expect her to be tolerant in the way how i want to live and raise my kids.

The leader of Koybun and the Ararat revolt was married to a Turk..... What does that tell you? People can marry who they like... arguing against inter ethnic marrage is racist... the key point is not how you act in the bedroom... but your politics and support for the Kurdish people....

Well, like I said before people are free to marry whoever they like, but it is also true to say it vise versa => people are free to NOT maryy whoever they don't like.
This is absolutely a personal matter,
PS: however I think any kind of generalising verdicts regarding ethnicities is still racism;

you know what , love is something which doens know Race , Relligion , Money... it happens between any group ... you may have heared some israeli palesitnian Love stories...

but it becomes a problem when peopel of a city , feel shame of their own identity , and they hope to marry a person in anotehr race ...
it can become an epidemy in a certain time... I know some kurdish cities in Iran, where most kurdish boys marry persian girls , and kurdish girls marry persian boys...

it is a kind of Community Ilnnes...where the peopel see themselves less than others ... let me tell you a funny story , in one of those kurdish cities in iran, two peopel , one male and other female...both of them had pretended they are Persian, in order to get the other side...because each side thought the other side is Persian...

and after they both found out the other side is Kurd , they left each other...

so you see here, the love is not important...it is a kind of Not Confidence in own Race.... or something....it is a kind of community sickness ...

ofcourse individiuals have the right to choose their wife/husband ..but we should be sure that we are not one of the ill persons who JUST WANTS A PERSIAN/TURK/... person
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then YOU WIN !

Yes, In this issues one should not consider the other parts ethnicity, but personality...

(PS. please let's use the word ethnicty instead of race, as hardly there is more than one race in whole of middle east, belonging to the mediterranean stock)

It's a reaction to all the racism you face/have faced from them.
