Not being able to receive the channels by satelite...
The only channel that has a good internet streaming capability is Roj-Tv.

On top of that, I agree with Medya,
ROj-Tv is a legacy tv from Med-Tv then Medya-Tv; so they have a long history and experience.

Does anyone remember 5-8years back when kurd-sat started in the south of Kurdistan. Wasn't there rumors that the turkish governement was financing it to conter Med TV. It wouldn't surprise me, since these were the Hey days, the good old days, between Barzbani :) and the turkish governement.
Does anyone remember that or was it only propaganda?

I thought that was funny Barz-Bani (BARZani-talaBANI) :) ...I know I should make such jokes  ...sorry

Dilshad

 This is so typical - all you Apo (leftist) people always have very little respect for other leaders... it seems you never learnet the Kurdish culture through your mother but through your APO - so if you wanna be disrespectfull of a person - even if it is Mam Jelal or Kak Barzanî - or Apo -or any other Kurdish leaders... go ahead... It says more about you that about them ;)

Hey - I haven't been "anti anybody in spesific" ;) I am anti anti Kurds...

And no - I haven't marked APO as a PERMANENT anti Kurd.. only NOW he is not saying doing what should be said and done--- I used to like that man damn it... he has disapointed... and if Barzani or Telebani does the same I will be anti them too...it has nothing personal in it...its a POLITICAL way of being anti...

They all suck. Why a Kurdish tv has Turkish language?? Are they insane?? I also don't like Ozgur Politika. Speak Kurdish or die
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

I agree with you Welatêmîr - THERE ARE TWO KURDISH DIALECTS - KURMANCÎ and GORANÎ/DIMILÎ...

Kurmancî in south and north and Goranî and Dimilî - they are MORE than enough - what do we need to speak PERSIAN/ARABIC or TURKISH on our NATIONAL TV???

Hi everyone,

well I have to disagree with you Wladimir.
By saying that yuo are ignoring the reality on the ground. And by doing that you would anheliniate an entire part of the kurdish population, that unlike you and I have been more assimilated.
I don't know which part of Kurdistan you are from, but there are part that are bordering with the geographic Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria where the occupier presence and assimilation program was much stronger.
In my village , We had no occupier teacher...only recently have they tried to come...the only way my dad learned the occupier langauge was going to the military service (forced to go of course).

So by doing that we would hold this elite position and regard all non kurdish speaking kurd as 2nd class citizen...Remind you some other peoples?

You will keep the assimilation IN TACT.. don't you see that?
Otherwise do news in English, but not in the language of oppressors.

You know what the problem is, a lot of those assimated Kurds are too lazy to learn Kurdish. I am DUTCH not Kurdish and I already know a lot of Kurdish words.

Dilshad - You haven't fully understood ONE thing - if there are Kurds that DON'T speak Kurdish - then we must encourage THOSE Kurds to LEARN Kurdish...

We can't just expect them to NEVER learn the language of the mothers... By only showing programs in Kurdish you FORCE the Kurds to accpt the REAL realities on the ground - A KURD MUST SPEAK KURDISH! It is a shame that some Kurds have been assimilated - but if they care just a LITTLE tinny bit - they will try to learn their Kurdish...

Now - those places you speak about - which are those? And you say on the borders - are they more assimilated? Is that what you are saying? Please do further explain what you meant by:
I don't know which part of Kurdistan you are from, but there are part that are bordering with the geographic Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria where the occupier presence and assimilation program was much stronger.

Thank you ;)
