1-we heared last week , israel left the occupied cities for arabs...
the occupied lands that THEY "HAD TO" OCCUPY IT ,
because Arabs (egypet) had attacked to israel, and israel HAD to occoupy that land .
and now after all these years, they left EVERYTHING for arabs...the land that they had occupied was a desert , now it is full buildings.

2-if kurd's occupiers had given the rights that israel has given to arabs, to kruds, we kurds would never riot , or may be we would never ask for independece...in israel everythng is in both hebrew and arabic...

If we consider the place where Dyaoko lives, he could have some good reasons that islam get on his nerves. If you would live in Afghanistan, under Taliban's rules, probably you would have some negatives impressions concerning your own memories

Islam is ok if you don't live as an integrist, but when you have fanatics sitting down on your back I understand that some ppl hate it

Moreover, it's not only islamists who are anti-Israelians. Arab nationalists too, like Baathists.

But why? You know we Kurds are very sceptical in the times like these. Through the whole history we have been betrayed many times by our so called friends. We know that we have no friends and if somebody (it can be a state, a nation or even an (economical) institution) is calling himself/herself our friend then he or she is doing it for personal reasons/aims and not for us Kurds. A lot people in the world have own secret agenda and trough us, Kurds, they want to realize it. But those times are over, we aren’t savages now. We have got our own intellectuals and scholars even our money (our oil) and we can’t be mislead any more.

Some people are so called friends of Palestine, but not because they like Arabs. No Because they hate Jews and are Anti-Semites. I mean, maybe you are anti-Iranian or anti-Arab or whatever and trough us, Kurds, you want to realize your intentions. There are a lot of people outside who are using us.

If you are really a friend of the Kurds then I thank you for that, but don’t expect a Noble price from us.

Personally, I’m a big supporter of Israel and the Jews. And not because I hate Arabs, but because I really think that every nation on earth have a right to rule over themselves. And that Jewish people suffered a lot from other, because of they were outsider and didn’t live in Israel.

atlas, what is your position on turkey? i mean, you have a lot of stuff blasting iran and syria for their abuses of kurds, but you appear rather skeptical about kurds under turkish oppression, questioning that if the reports of turkish brutality in the one example you cite are true, where is the media?

a lot of shit has happened in turkish-occupied kurdistan but the western media never reports it, so does that mean it never happened? maybe you should do some research and check out the us state department's human rights reports on turkey or check out some of the judicial decisions against turkey by the echr--you can go to the khrp website for a little of that.

if you are so familiar with kurds, then how is it you are offended by some of the things said in this thread? if you were familiar with kurds, you would have heard these same arguments over and over again, and you would be able to see through them and identify

1) those who are rightly angry because the us and israel have not spoken out against turkey for its genocide against kurds. . . but then, the us and israel are way behind the power curve when it comes to speaking out against turkey for its genocide of armenians too.

2) those who are simply mouthing an islamist ideology, which the great majority of kurds consider to be garbage.

3) those who realize that there is a distinction to be made between national interests and states, and those individuals of nations/states who do support kurds for the sake of kurds and not for the sake of national interests. . . and you would have realized that this is the position of most in this thread. therefore, there is nothing to get offended about.

Very correct, Welatêmîr - East Kurdistan is the largest part of Kurdistan - the thing MOST people forget is that LORS are Kurdish... And sometimes, myself included...

So - just as Zazakistan is a Region, as a part of Kurdistan - so is Lorestan a Region, as a part of Kurdistan...
