Vladimir, the book I gathered my info from is in Swedish, it is a book about a Kurdish girl killed in order to hold up the family honour. But I only read the pretext (since it was only facts and I needed this for a project I was doing on Kurdish women). I can check it up and see what sources the author refers to. I'll get back to you on that one

I got to learn a lot of languages to learn more about the Kurds. Swedish, French, Kurdish (Sorani, Kurmanji, Badini, Zaza), Arabic, Norwegian, Turkish.. god damn it men..
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Most books are translated into English, Arabic, Spanish, French, German and Chinese - so don't worry - just learn one, two or three of these and you will have a good chance of learning ALL there is about Kurds...

Kurds are savages thats the fact of the matter... I had to stop two scum bag Kurds from Robbing a poor Afghan the other day...

You are not so very smart are you? Don't generalize... Talk about SOME instead of "Kurds"... What is your point? There are ROBBERS in ALL cultures... WHAT IS YOUR POINT?
