Exact in my dictionnary (the Baran Rizgar's one) Sîm has 2 meanings : 1. Silver ; 2. Silver thread. :P

In Dersim I have to say that in spring, it is very rainy, and the grass, trees and leaves, and the grey sky and clouds, give a "silver light" on landscapes...

Yes... True...

When in Kurdish - we go to buy fabrics/qûmash/parche - the shop owner will ask; "do you want with or without sîm?"...

Do not make up names for Malatya. Malatya is a truely turkish city. There was no terrorist from Malatya. All kurdish commınity of Malatya are law-abiding, decent, prudent people unlike places like Hakkari and Sırnak. So, get over it. Malatya was and is a truely a turkish city. Its living standard is a proof of that!

Yeah I replied in turkish but let's stick to english, and avoid "bok" "gay" or nice words like that...

And you're probably right anyway, Malatya is a very "ülkücü" city, a real hell-hole...

Yeah I'm surprised to see an Alevi being nationalist...usually they are really among the best people in Turkey...and to support turkish republic after what they suffered...But what the hell there are jashs everywhere 8)

Well there are a lot of kurds there, you admitted it yourself. And it's true, it's really at the border of the kurdish populated area...anyway what means "truly" turkish, if there are some alevis and some kurds, it's not "truly" turkish in a nationalist point of view...not populated with kemalist islamist pure blood turks...

not populated with kemalist islamist pure blood turks

What does that mean? If u are an islamist u are not kemalist. besides, anyone who feels himself or herself a part of the turkish nation is a turk. malatya with its kurdish citizens is a turkish city. because almost all people are law-abiding, decent, prudent people.

So if they were law abiding they did not speak kurdish with each other?

Yes since 1980 national ideology is more or less islamist as well...check MHP ideology, only muslim turks have a right to exist in turkey!

And if you're an Alevi, you must be aware that your community does not exist officially in turkey...
