Islamists are, even if they are Turks, Kurds or Arabs, there is a green fascism, and it is the same.

what? ive never been to such a turkish-ass licking "kurdish" (apparently ) forum in my life. Whats with the attack on Islam in this forum and the major ass licking of greedy fascist turks who would chop any kurds' head off at the first chance, regardless of both of us being muslim or not! GENERALLY all the Turks i have ever met have some strange deep-rooted hatred for kurds, i gave up trying to understand it, regardless of the fact that i have turkish friends, they would drop islam in a second if it meant kurds would be wiped out, quite frankly their nationalism is quite unbelieveable, perhaps this comes from the Ataturk ideologies they are brainwashed with early in school, but the fact is Kurds should be united, Muslim kurds, athiest kurds, ezedi kurds, christian kurds, and not simply ass-lick a so called "democratic" turk because you are so anti-islam and therefore cause conflict with your kurdish muslim brothers!!

If you are a friend of the Kurds, you are a friend of everyone. Including Kurdish muslims. There is nothing wrong with demonstrations. But there is something wrong with flag burnings, killing people, etc.

I can understand Muslim sentiment, but also western sentiment. Aren't Bin Laden and radical groups like Ansar Al-Islam giving Islam a bad image, or the killings in Nigeria? Or IRAN?
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

And what about all the poor bastards who died in Afghanista, Pakistan, Lybia during demonstrations. Will they go straight to paradise? is the life of their wives and kids much better now that they died against evil denmark???

I make a distinction between an "Islamist" ( extremist who wants that everybody obey ot his religious principles against freedom of opinion and democracy) and "Muslim" (a believer who expresses their faith in a democratic way. But Islamists make none. And yeah, Islamism (wahabism, salafism, takfirism, khomeinism, etc) a is green fascism. Not Islam. But Islam should not rule the world, sorry.

Demonstrations are not a problem. When they threaten people's life because they don'"t like what is written or said, they are a problem for all the humanity. Moreover, I wonder why all these muslims never make any demonstration when people are executed under the name of Islam for having eaten durong the ramadan or having refused mollah's tyranny, in Iran, Afghanistan when Talibans ruled the country, or Pakistan.

Muslims who are more offended by a cartoon than terrorism, lapidation of dictatorship are stupid, yes.

And I am not a "unconditionnal friend of all the Kurds, because they are Kurds". That is stupid. Even racist in fact. I prefer a Turkish democrat than a Kurdish islamist or a Kurdish Apocî.

I am not an islamist or even a devout muslim, but I guess there is a huge difference between perceptions here. The cartoons were not meant to criticize muslims or terrorism. Their only purpose was to offend muslims, nothing more. I wrote it before but take a look at this article again:

http://service.spiegel.de/cache/interna ... 53,00.html

NOTE: Burning down embassies is totally ridicilous. It harms the justified cause of demonstrations.

I have already written here http://northerniraq.info/blog/?p=45#more-45 how I find the cartoons stupids, but furious reactions against them as so much stupid, and so-called "journalist's courage" stupids too.

Well it is the same thing. I like Kurds in general but not all of them. Kurds are individuals. As if Kurds were obliged to love all Americans in the world !

Islamist movements are byproducts of American governments' policies in their fight againist Communism. Still, the ongoing islamist terror is in the interests of Americans. It gives them just causes to interfere and play as they wish in Middle East.
