The New Anatolian has a report on the findings of the parliamentary Semdinli Commission. The commission hints that Masud BarzanĂ® and the KDP may be responsible for the bombings of last November.

The draft "findings" include the following:

* The state is acquitted of involvement--big shock.

* The claim is that the bombings were "local," thus contradicting Erdogan's statement at the time.

* The notion that there are any "illegal formations" in the gendarmerie is rejected, along with all of DTP's other concerns.

* There is no evidence that PKK was involved with the Semdinli bookstore bombing, but the commission wouldn't be surprised if PKK was involved.

* There is no evidence that PKK was involved with a September bombing in Semdinli, but all other bombings in the region were carried out by PKK.

The report also pointed to the fact that Iraqi Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) leader Massoud Barzani is powerful in Hakkari through his relatives in the city. It also warned that the northern Iraqi region controlled by Barzani has become a magnet and if the necessary measures are not taken, it would be harder to fight against this organized power, which is bigger and more organized than the PKK. The report suggested that improvement of the socio-economic situation in the southeast would reduce the influence of the Barzani administration there.

LOL. Of course Barzani has nothing else to do that throwing bombs on shops ! His job of Chairman is not so busy.

But this accusation is particularly stupid.
I have the feeling that MP's are not able to charge the PKK because it is obvious that Turkish forces did the attack. BUT they don't want to recognize it, then they seek for a new responsible... But it sounds so fantasist, who will believe them ?
