Karayilans last speech (to the guerillas) is in Kurdish...

The girls from Rojhelat were the smartest in the whole guerilla - every other girl spoke in Turkish!

So stupid that they discussed everything in Turkish - and then when interviewed - only some of the guys spoke in Kurdish... Mostly everybody spoke Turkish...

Their political courses are in Turkish (some 40 h per weeks), their books, their dogma, their military isntructions, etc. So we could guess that the new members from Rojhelat, after some years, will know Turkish better than Kurdish. That's the paradox. Kurds from South, Western and EAstern Kurdistan if they join the PKK have to learn Turkish... but Northern Kurds who speak only Turkish don't learn Kurdish...

what is noticeable too but not surprising is that in their courses (or political propaganda) they focus a lot about what is wrong in Kurdish society, Kurdish men, what is wrong in their own feodal mind and past... more than what is wrong in Turkish policy.

The result is a developement of a Kurdish self-hatred, a refuse of historical roots, a shame to be a Kurds belonging to a "primitive fascist old fashionable system" and a kind of fascination for... Turkey.
