PKK operation in Van: Nineteen arrested
Nineteen people, including Democratic Regions’ Party (DBP) co-chairs Ökkeş Kava and Caziye Duman, were arrested on Thursday during anti-terror operations against Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Van.
As part of interrogation against PKK’s city and youth organization, held by Van Public Prosecution, police units conducted operations at various neighborhoods. During the searches at some addresses, 2 guns, 2 hunting rifles, 1 kalashnikov, 421 bullets, 3 walkie-talkies, 5 propane cylinders and some illegal documents were seized.
