I was just wondering - What type of Kurdistan do you want to see in the future?

One FEDERAL state in Iraq, one in Turkey, one in Syria and one in Iran! --> And then the Kurds will still have to deal with the enemies of the Kurds
One COUNTRY covering all areas where Kurds live today --> Impossible
The Independent state that is drawn in the Treaty of Sèvres --> That's a small part of Kurdistan
I want Kurdistan to be ALL areas that were ORIGinally KURDISH! --> This sounds better
I don't want there to be anything called Kurdistan!!! --> <-- ??

I already did this, but I want to explain my vote.

A civilized Kurdistan with the all areas that were originally kurdish will do.

I completely agree with Vladimir, Federalism is not an answer for kurds, In fact it will legitimatize our division. on the other hand we should look at south Kurdistan they can't unite their two adminstrations, so how could u reuinte other 3 parts with the all damn tribal and primitive leadrs and political organisations?

Kurds need a modren newly born political organisation, then we dream of greater Kurdistan, otherwise we just eluding ourselves and our life would be stamped as Iraqis and others.

I totally agree, but it's hard. Remember the sad story of the Kurdish referendum movement? Isn't it true that it used to be independent, but that KDP/PUK infiltrated in it?

There is a real need of a independent Kurdistan organisation.. NOT PKk, NOT PUk, NOT KDP, NOT KDP-I..etc.
For all Kurds.. because even if the PKK says they are for all Kurds.. you can't see it.. now??

KASSEM - When i made the "Options" I was thinking of giving that option too - but you know what? I KNEW that you would say that you would like a "CONFEDERATION" - Because you are PKKci - and you REALLY believe that it is what is best for Kurdistan just because APO said it is a good option... fact is - If Kurdistan is made into 4 parts - We will be accepting what EVERYBODY is saying - "Kurds are not one... they are 4 different people - and actually they are Turks, Persian and Arabs" - Do you accept this since you accept that Kurdistan is 4? and not 1...

WHY DO YOU THINK THAT IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE WHERE THE CANDIDATE COMES FROM??? You are making us believe that it is different to be Kurd from North south or east... And THAT IS BAD - You are thinking like a TURK...

This is not true - I didn't do it because I didn't think about that option when I was making the options... So I'm sorry if you feel I have direspected you or the PKK...

I dunno what you have against pro-pkk people, but you shouldn't disrespect like that

Actually I am more conservative than to be able to think like a Turk - I dislike Turkish/Arab/Persian Nationalists... I am just saying that the option of dividing Kurdistan up like the Idea APO had is BAD... Your idea was better than his idea...

Are you forgetting that the Kurds of the North are MANY different people too??? Do you think people from Agri will vote for the candidate of Urfa just because he is from the "turkish" part of Kurdistan??? NO - they will have their own candidates off course...

This is a hard question because I think it will all take place in parts, which will eventually become a whole. I've said this before, but this is the best analogy I can give:

A company finds a new producer for its software, but they have never done business with them before, and they are not well known or understood, but they have decided to give them *some* work. If the new producer does a really good job, better than the other producers, they will get more work.

Then, more companies will start to give them more work from other nations. If they do that work very well too, then they become a larger producer/company.

If Southern Kurdistan works very well, then people will begin to look at it as an example to hold up to the world. They will say "Kurds do well with their country, they are a good example of what can be done." So, in time, as Iran and Syria begin to crumble internally, it's likely that the Kurds from there will want to be part of the new Kurdistan, not part of Syria or Iran, but they might get a federation for the short term. If THEY both do well, then that "Federation" or "confederation" will join together. It will give the Kurds in Northern Kurdistan a lot of leverage, and that will give autonomy to the Kurds in Northern Kurdistan. I do not think that Turkey will break up, but I think eventually, it will not matter much because the playing field will be level, with Kurds leading the way.

I do not think there will ever be a Kurdistan UNLESS Kurds build it, and make it successful.
