Five areas in Hakkari banned entry and exit

Hakkari Governorship has banned entry and exit in 5 areas for 15 days for security reason

Once again 5 districts in the center and and surroundings of Hakkari, have been declared closed to entry and exit for 15 days.

The governor announced the ban for security reason

Generally, roads in Sirnak-Hakkari are closed after a PKK attack or before a Turkish offensive.

If PKK did nothing these last days, then Turkish Army will attack soon, probably.

This should be against international law

Turks should not be allowed to move in and isolate large areas such as this

For 2 weeks the people will be prisoners

This is ridiculous, it is 2019 not the middles ages

There must be something someone can do

Monday 15 Jul 2019 new Hakkari travel ban

Five provinces of Hakkari have been declared Private Security Zone by the Governor for 15 days

In the statement made by the Hakkari Governorship regarding the areas declared as Private Security Zone it is stated that "in accordance with Article 32 / A of the Military Restricted Zones and Security Zones Law No. 2565; Yüksekova, Çukurca, Semdinli and Derecik provinces are declared between 16 and 30 July 2019 Private Security Zones." Therefore citizens are prohibited from entering these regions without permission.

The prohibited areas are: Akkaya-Çığlı Kırsalı Region, Central Molla Hüseyin Tepe-Süvari Tepe Region, Özpınar Mountain and Küçükgelga Lake District of Yüksekova

Hakkari center, Kırıkdağ-Glacier-Kandil-Alandüz countryside, Central Oüul-Ceylanlı-Çimenli-subsistence-Kazan countryside region.
