People took to the streets in London in protest at the Turkish state’s genocidal and occupation attacks on Rojava and Southern Kurdistan.

Gathering at the Trafalgar Square, the crowd chanted “Fascist Erdoğan”, “Fascism will be buried in Kurdistan” and “Erdoğan, hands off Kurdistan”.

In a speech in the name of Roj Women’s Assembly, Sultan Çewlik highlighted the Turkish state’s animosity against women.

Speaking on behalf of Kurdish People’s Council in Britain, Ercan Akbal denounced the Turkish state’s hi-tech occupation attacks against Kurdistan. He stressed that the Kurdish people and their friends will increase the fight against Erdoğan fascism and Turkey’s attacks.

As the number of Kurds in the UK increases exponentially, the support for protests decreases

Kurds from, and those descended from Southern Kurdistan, are still proudly patriotic

As are those from Eastern Kurdistan and Western Kurdistan

Kurds from, and those descended from Northern Kurdistan, seem to have forgotten their heritage, the torture and slaughter of Kurdish people, the destruction of their homes and lands at the hands of barbaric Turks

Kurds themselves are partly to blame as those from Northern Kurdistan, often fail to pass on their history, culture or pride to their children, instead tending to watch TURKISH programs on TV

Many Northern Kurdish leaders tend to indoctrinate the youths into Marxist ideology rather than teach the young people Kurdish history

I firmly believe that ALL Kurds should remember they are part of ONE KURDISTAN

    ONE PEOPLE

    ONE FLAG

    ONE KURDISTAN
