What should the NEW PARTY be called? And the POLICY?

PostAuthor: Diri » Sat May 21, 2005 3:19 pm

There has been much talk of the need for a third party in Kurdistan - Say we were the ones to creat such a party -

What should we call our party? And type of policy should we promote?

You are welcome to give new proposals as to what name should be used for the Party...

I think Democratic Union of Kurdistan is a good choice - Democratic indicating the party's ground... Union for UNIFICATION of Kurdistan...

Sounds nice to me :D

this isnt a good poll to choose among multiple questions i think you are refferring to http://www.yndk.com/

anybody knows if they are a party or not?
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then YOU WIN !

He Diri I just read that Mahmoud Osman has declared he is ganna establish a political party in the future.... but I think he is bit old, even tough I regard him better than Talabani and Barzani.

I suggest u to contact him ASP Diri and give him an advice what name he should be choose.

Regarding to ur poll I think we need a libarl word to make the world happy and catching up with the world civilazations.

I don't think name would be a problem as long as they build modren and civilized rules and laws. On the other hand, for sure Communist and Islamic words will have a negative images in the eye of today world's poltics.

Diri have u read about what Clinton said?
just b4 yestrday Clinton was in Danemark, he refered all Iraq's political parties as tribals..... I guess he is the one who knows KDP well. And PUK and we should thank him for his effort that lead to stop Kdp and Puk fighting.

Indeed!! And not only one part.. for all Kurds.. Although most political parties are focused on one part of Kurdistan.
Music isn't always focused on one part and therefore it's a good example how it could be.
At Siwan perwer there were Southern Kurds, Western, Northern..etc
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

ARCAN -

SPEAK FOR YOURSELF...

I certainly have not made up my mind about the matter...

LOOK HERE ARE THE NEGATIVE SIDES OF EU MEMBERSHIP:

Greater Kurdistan will not exist- Well appereantly EU will not want to let Kurdistan be free because they need the resources Kurdistan has... North Kurdistan is a rich and VAST area... If it comes under UE controll we can only dream about succesion from Turkey...

AND - The Kurds will most probably loose many of their rights after Turkey enters EU anyway - Look at Spain - Do any of the EU members EVER demand basic humanrights for the BASQUE people???? NO... They are too buissy eating of Spains silver plater with all the minerals and resources you can think about... Loosing Basque land means loosing MONEY... The EU IS ABOUT MONEY FIRST AND FOREMOST... DON*T YOU FORGET THAT!

Diri - strange question to ask out of all the questions you could have asked. But if you click on the map, it expands and you can view a bigger more detailed map. it is also in the "Learning center" section. By the way, I designed the site so if you have any more suggestions, let me know!

Kasseem - If you really disagree, then you should write an article and it will be published on the website. The website was made as a voice for young Kurds and everyone's opinion matters. A lot of people view this website, so if you want people to hear your side, write one! :D
