Kurdish Policy Board

The United Kingdom is home to a significant number of people with Kurdish heritage. We advocate for a set of values that will enable our communities to thrive, and seek to build bridges with the diverse segments of British society — building for a better and more inclusive future

Political representation

We want to increase political representation and engagement across the United Kingdom among British-Kurds. As an increasingly disadvantaged group, we hope to support young people who are aspiring to be active within their respective communities, and intend to represent the issues facing them
Community integration

Our mission is to help and empower Kurdish communities to become fully engaged in playing an effective and active role within their respective communities. We bring Kurdish communities together to improve social cohesion and the quality of living
Cultural recognition

Kurdish identity is traditionally defined by a shared culture, language, homeland, and heritage. Many of the Kurdish community have fled war-torn regions and countries where their rights were either denied or constrained. We aim to ensure that our rich heritage is fully recognised in the United Kingdom

This organisation is new and before today totally unknown to me

Sadly many Kurdish groups within the UK fail to mix with other such groups

If is organisation does actually bring Kurdish communities together, it will have my support
