Yes.. you read the letter on KURDISTANOBSERVER to Nechirvan Barzani.
I really think they have to do something with that oil money instead of filling pockets..
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Let me tell you something...

KRG SUCKS... They are more fixed on bringing in computers to the region than sanitation and social development... They think Kurdistan will be saved as long as it has got hightech and stereo... HELLO - KURDISTAN IS A LAND WAITING TO BE BUILT!!! BUILD IT DAMN PEOPLE!

Society is not built on air- it needs a SOLID AND INSPIRING SOROUNDING... A GREAT CITY!

Hewlêr would be a future capital of a unified West, South and East Kurdistan... SO make it look good and meet the standards for a CAPTAL - WHERE IS THE TUB THAT IS GONNA TRANSPORT PEOPLE???

AND WHERE IS THE HUGE FOTBALL STADION THAT WILL HOST THE FOTBALL TEAM?

AND WHERE IS THE HUGE HOSPITAL THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE FINES AND BEST IN THE REGION???

AND JUST WHERE THE HELL IS YOUR BRAIN, KRG????

have you noticed how KRG makes such a huge deal over a new school being opened or a few meters of paved road. who do they think they're fooling? the situation is very bad in kurdistan especially if you're not wealthy or not from a affluent family.

PostAuthor: bamerni » Mon Jun 06, 2005 4:56 pm

KURDISTAN IS NOT A UGLY PLACE. NOT EVEN HEWELR OR ANY OTHER CITY. IT JUST TAKES TIMES FOR THE GOVERMENT TO BUILD KURDISTAN. WHAT IS KRG?

KRG = KURDISTAN REGIONAL GOVERMENT....

AND well - OF COURSE KURDISTAN IS BEAUTIFULL AND A FLOWER IN MY EYES... BUT SOMETHING MUST BE DONE TO IMPROVE THE CITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE...

I believe they will do all that ... it will just have to take some time...
