Someone wrote to me and said "Do you really think there are internet connections in the slums of Mosul" and I said "I sure do!", so if you're in Dohok, I'm probably right about the ability for anyone to get on the internet in most of Southern Kurdistan....I'm sure no one EVER thought to hear that, but it sure looks true to me.

Assyrians are good people - although they envy us and wished that it was Assyria and not Kurdistan...
Turkmen I would be very carefull with...they aren't the type you can turn your back to with a naive mind...
Arabs - NOW these are untrustable... I wouldn NOT trust an Arab ANY day!

i wish i could have been there for the celebrations! yes, it is very different there, but i enjoyed it so much, i hope you do too, ChiChalok.

i don't know if there's internet in mosul, but in the cities of kurdistan and the larger villages, there are plenty of connections.

"omg , what the hell are they thinking of the kurds ?? are we cave men ?? "

you know the ones you mention say that kurds are savages, kardox, so they refuse to believe that kurdistan can be more advanced than they are because to do so would prove that they lie about kurds. this is nonsense, of course, because kurds have been focussing their efforts on building and not on destroying.

I saw three lorries oil form Turkey on the streets two nights ago... They were obviously Turkish Kurds......
They were going crazy... I guess it was a proud moment for them...

By the way... I met Mehdi Zana... I made hime cry... I swear to god... I just asked him... Layla Conie?... and he burst out in tears... I want not sure if it was becasue he felt sorry for her or that she dumped him....
