leyla zana had already been nominated for nobel several times...but usa never let them give it to her.. instead they gave it to Shirin Ebadi ...a lazy Moderate Human right activist woman in Iran...
by the way , anybody has a photo of Hero Ahmad ?

You can't say that it was the US that prevented Leyla Zana from getting the Nobel Prize when she was nominated in 1999, it was more likely pressure from Turkey and perhaps Germany because of her "supposed" but false ties to the PKK...the United States wouldn't give Shirin Ebadi a visa to visit and tour the country when she got the prize.

shirin ebadi DID visited America and recied her award from the hand of two hollywood actor and actress.
Shirin ebadi wanted to publish her lifes book in usa...but by USA law, IRanian Citiizens are not allowed to publish books in US .
but USA revoked that Law jsut because of shirin ebady, and she published her book there...and unfrotunately after her..many anti-us books been published by mullahs in usa...

Hopefully she will get it and bring some more international support to Kurdistan...
Did you know that she already has won the Sakharov Prize...one of the highest prize fron the EUROPEAN UNION ...and then too, I remember the turkish delegations were working HARD to not give it to her...

She has won the Rafto Prize... Too!...
The Rafto is a prize given to (like all other prizes) people who struggle for peace with non-violent means... It is the second largest prize given to anyone here in Norway AFTER the Nobel Prize... Which is based in Oslo...
