today kurds in turkey made a protest to show their anger toward iranian regime's killing their brothers in east. (the list of the grousp who protested in north kurdistan are liseted in rojhilat.org)

but today about 500 southern kurd wanted to show their protest in sulimani.
the polices sourrounded them and didnt let them move..they didnt let mediass to cover the news.

acording to rojhilat.org the KTV and Zagros TV wanted to take report but PUK police told them "why yoy yourself didnt let them to make protest in Hewler and then can make report of that? ...and stopped them from taking movie"

and didnt let other kurds to join the protest , acording to the "the kurdistani" they even fired on the poepel.

hey I found the news in English ,

Turkey's Kurds condemned Attacks on the Iranian Kurds

NORTH KURDISTAN (in Turkey), Various human rights organizations, political organizations and trade unions in Wan in northern Kurdistan (southeastern Turkey) protested against the attacks on the Kurdish people in eastern Kurdistan(in Iran) .

[More:]

After staging a demonstration a statement was read at the 'Artists street' by Veli Avci, representative of the GÖÇ-DER Union in Wan. Avci criticized the world for being quiet about the event and said the organisations that had gathered today wanted to draw the attention of the public opinion in the world regarding the attacks made on the Kurdish people in eastern Kurdistan.

During the demonstration pro-Kurdish and pro-PKK slogans such as "The Kurdish people are not alone" and "Long live leader Apo" were shouted.

PUK is so concervite about other kurds...they are limiting peopel even more than Turkey , to support their borthers in East .

there is a persian saying that says "It is the bowl , hotter than the food itself" (Kaseye Garm Tar az Ash)

Yeah, I heard that PUK attempted to block the demonstrations... But this says they fired on people??? This sounds a little too suspicious. Do you know of any other sources who reported that?

Also interesting is how PUK and KDP are still operating so separatly. While PUK tried to block these demonstrations, KDP was sitting having tea with KDPI on what they could do to help.

But KDP also forbid the demonstrations in Hewler. Don't forget that.
They shot in the air, but didn't shoot on the protesters.

That is really a big shame. Has PUK forgotten what the city of Sinne did for them when Silêmanî and the other cities Basûr were under attack? And now Sinne is being attacked and this is how PUK repays them?
