Lies by the AntiWar movement: Kirkuk

"Kirkuk was a garrison city maintained by the Ottomans as their local military base until the breakup of the Ottoman empire, when it reverted to the Arabs. It wasn't until oil was discovered in the 1920s that the Kurds came to their "Jerusalem" – as their propaganda portrays it – when the oil companies had to bring in workers. "
Raphael Patai already wrote that the provinces Kirkuk, Diyali, Mosul, Sulemani and Arbil are Kurdish when they were added to Iraq.. and the writers aren't from Kurdish origin.
What is this bullshit?

who the fuck are these idiots, in a Ottoman document from 1883 they describe kerkuk as following :
75 % of the population in kerkuk are kurdish and the last 25 pro cent are Kheldo-assyrian, turk men and arabs.
What the hell has oil to do with kurds moving into the city, if kurds knew better they would have been in a batter position today.

Anti war movement is often leftist and pro-arab
Kurds are seen as allies of americans, I.E of evil capitalism...
In france, a part of anti-war movement was extreme left, pro arab, pro palestinian, anti-israel, anti kurd.

i guess they better change their name to pro-misery , pro-dictatorship , pro-brutality.
how could they oppose us-iraq war ? saddam already was in War with civilian kurds and none of these Pro-Misery ppls said a word...

Yeah it was ackward for me in 2003...I was "anti war" because I felt that a US invasion would led to no good...but I knew as well that it would definitely free the kurdish people...bref I was sick and happy in the mean time!
