I got some extra information, it was the knee part of the (sheep) bone, in kurdish we call a knee "kabok". But that part is just called "kab". They used to throw the kab in the air and depending how it fell you played the game. Sometimes they also used marbles, in kurdish called gar/xar. So the game was named kab u gar. Dont laugh ok, i guess its a real gundî game.

No, brother - why laugh - it is our rich traditions - this game isn't found anywhere else... My father told me about this game too - a long time ago... He used to play it when he was little aswell!

He called the game Kabbanê... And by the way - we call marbles "Mîshtok" in my area - Colemêrg/Ûrmiye... :D

Chellme Shikane (Pronounciation : Chell Ma She Ka Neh)
[breaking hen's bone...]

I dont know if you know this game or not ,

this game is a special game for NewRoz days ,
this game usualy is played when you go to Seyran (Piknic) in Bahar (Spring ) in newroz days [new kurdish year celebration] .I used to do it with my cousins or my father .

Chellme shikane means Breaking Chellme (I guess Chelme is a part of hen's interal bone...)

this game is for 2 persons [2 player game]

after you eat the Hen in piknic , there are two small bones of hen's leg [ Each hen has two of them (so by each hen you can setup two games ...),
that bone is small and it is like Arabic 7 number or like this symbol ^ ]

if you want to play this game you have to start with breaking it like this :

player 1 offers player number two to play with him , by saying "Chelemeshikane" and holding that bone in hand , the player number two takes the other side of the bnoe and they break it !

the game Offcialy starts now .from now the intresting part begins .

from now , each of those players who can give something [no matter what ] to the other person and that person accept that thing without sayng "I remeber" he will be winer ...

for example , if player 1 , hands the player two a glass of water , or tea or whateverr... and player two forget to say "I remember ..." player two wil loose the game.

player two can also give player 1 things...and if player one forget to say it ... he will also loose...

this game is so intrestng, you may think that it is very easy ...but I swear to god it is very hard...

specialy , mind that you are in a piknic for the whole day , you have to remember NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING from the other player , without saying "I remember ..." [in Kurdish --> Le Birma... ]

I really love this game.
I hope those reasearchers who like to Record kurdish games in history or in books , write this intersting game ... unfrotuantely these games are being forgotten forever . Playstation and computer games is taking their places.

there are many other games , that I just heard their name ..but I never played them.
