ha ha , I wanted to mention that... in rojhelati kurdi we say "Dehati" (ppl who come from village to cities and they buy ugly shirts ...)

Tatlis would be called Dehati if he was in my city .

he is one of the most funny singer on turkish scene...I found him totally ridiculous and he gave me a lot of headaches with his shitty arabesk. And in Southern Kurdistan, I heard him for the first time singing in Kurdish...not the same! Suddenly it was beautiful!

He said that he is a Turk.. who happens to have a Kurdish mother. "I am a Turk, from Turkey.. blala"
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Politics...

If I knew that I would be targeted for saying I am Kurdish - I would have done so too...

As long as I work for Kurdistan and Kurdayetî - underneath the fasade... And as long as I know in my heart - what I realy am... That is just a formality...

He speaks kurdish very well.

I dont like him, nor do i hate him.

He has been "usefull" in a way that he has stolen original kurdish songs and sang it in turkish language.
