I just saw the first site of that forum and i have to say you guys are lieing abit arent you?? Your making the whole Northen Iraq or better said Northen Mesopotamia as Southern Kurdistan that is really dissapointing arent you friends of the Assyrians????? Why such a lie??? do you deny us like the Turks deny Kurds??

if your organization doesn't let you use "Southern Kurdistan" word, you can use "Iraqi occupied Kurdistan" or at least "Iraqi Kurdistan" .

Oh my God, you give us some headaches. In any case, "Northern Iraq" is a joke, it is not more Kurdistan than Assyria... nor "Turkish mountainers are Kurds". Just a JOKE. So if you want to make a site called "Northern Iraq is invalid, call it Assyria", let's do it ! By the way Kurds are not obliged to promote your own nationalism, do it yourself !

well this site just asks ppl not use that word...because we are sick of that word...belive me I heared that word more than 1000 times in news sites...I am pretty pretty sick of that word...

well at least norther mezopotamia is a newer name ... so no you are no my enemy....just those who Consecily use that word [in order to run away from using the word kurdistan... this is to change those ppl's mind.

Do you see that map??? I guess yes do you see how much the Kurdish Goverment wants to be as Southern Kurdistan and do you notice that there are the cities of Assyria. Do you see that you took the Nineveh Plains i guess you do pretty good.

Sorry i am a person who thinks war wont bring you far it will bring you near to the end. Why should i raise an Assyrian army and have a conquest for my land for my cities?

I am sure that those all well be done without killing inocent people Assyrians are on the way of anti war and share the wise answer of love your next like yourself. The Assyrians will be given their land by those who took it away and gaved it to others the same countries will say here Assyrians raise your Assyrian Flags on these lands in this cities those are yours.

One Kurd i know of you all is Diri i have to say this person is very kind and he tries to make peace but the sad truth is the most of Kurds dont want that and the devloper of that systems are your leaders.

Be serious : how many Assyrians lived in Hewlêr in the 19th century ? in the 16th century ? In the Middle-Ages ? Arab travelers in the 12th century went and described Hewlêr as a Kurdish city. Was there a genocide of Assyrians before islam ?

If you read the Ottoman census at the end of the 19th century (BEFORE the genocide) you could have some surprises concerning the Christian population. Do you think that they were in majority ?

Of course we will call it South Kurdistan - instead of North Iraq...

But South Kurdistan doesn't, in my mind - mean the same as Assyria - because I think Assyria is on the Nineveh plains + some more places...

I couldn't see the first map you posted... What is it?

Let me ask you - WHAT IS BEST (?) :

1) Assyria be a part of Secular Federal Kurdistan Region

or

2) Assyria be a part of Islamic Federal Iraq Region?

We call it Hewlêr, you call it ArbaElu. We call it Kurdistan, you call it Assyria. This is really a never ending debate The fact of the matter is that we still consider Hewlêr as part of Southern Kurdistan.
