Kurds Dancing to an Assyrian Song

The song was put on the video later... The people are not dancing to that song... They are dancing to the song and music by the artist on the stage... :wink:

There are some Assyrian songs that I can easily dance Kurdi to though. Some cultural aspects between the two are very close as well.

Is this because of living aside one another for so many years?

Basically - Assyrians have borrowed a lot from Kurds... Because they have been a minority among Kurds for many centuries now...

I'll take Kurds over Assyrians any day. No offence to Assyrians, but many Assyrians I meet are soooo full of themselves. Especially their women. Unlike Armenians, I have not met one Assyrian from Iran who claims that she/he is Iranian.
When I ask them "Are you Iranian?"
The usual response is "No, we are Assyrians who are forced to live in Iran." Are you not Iranian if you live in Iran??? :?

Some even think Iran belonged to them and the evil Medes and Persians took it away from them even though they only controlled portions western Iran. :roll:

Of course, I've met a couple nice ones too. Generally their males are friendlier than their females.
