Once upon a time, a Turkish mad brought to a hospital in order to psychological care.
The doctor says to the mads: “Ok guys, just suppose you are in a wedding, so all clap!”
All of mads start to clap, except the Turkish one. The doctore asks him: ”man, why you dont clap?”
Turkish mad: “Oh! It’s a shame! It’s shameful!”
The doctor got surprised and asked himself maybe this guy isnt really mad! So asks him once again: “why it causes your embarrassment?”
Turkish mad: “God! Why you dont understand?! I’m the bride! Brides dont clap in the weddings!” [< for the non-Middle Eastern buddies I must say that not to clap in weddings for brides is an Islamic norm ]

These Turkish Jokes are similar to Irish ones. Rather than making fun of ordinary Turks, we should make fun of Turkish Army or Kemalist turks or Turkish Nationalists. For example this mad person could have been a turkish army officer, became mad for his fear from PKK and ended up in a Turkish Army psychiatric Hospital full of mentally-troubled Turkish Army Officers.
