YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defense Units) have taken control of a main transition route of Al-Nusra near Şêxmeqsûd (Sheikh Maqsoud) neighborhood of Aleppo.
According to reports from the region, Defense Units have seized control of the road between El-Cendol and Seken El- Shiqeyif over which gang groups transported their ammunition.
On the other hand, YPG snipers have targeted the Al-Nusra gangs between Cendûl Square and Seken El- Shiqeyif at around 03:00 last night. Three members of the gangs were killed and a DshK-laden vehicle was destroyed in assassination actions.
YPG fighters conducted another action against Al-Nusra gangs in Pino village to the north of Şêxmeqsûd at 04:00 at midnight, which left one gang member dead and one DshK-laden vehicle destroyed.
In the meantime, attacks by AKP-backed Al-Nusra groups on civilians in Şêxmeqsûd neighborhood continue.
