CNN to broadcast on genocide against the Kurds
On 4th and 5th December CNN will broadcast 'Scream Bloody Murder', a programme that explores the world's killing fields in an attempt to understand the world's indifference.

Hosted by Christiane Amanpour, viewers will travel to countries around the world and hear the stories of those who courageously tried to inform the world of the atrocities they witnessed.

One such "witness to evil" to be profiled is US Ambassador Peter Galbraith - one of the first to report on Saddam Hussein's genocide against the Kurds of Iraq. This two-hour documentary will premiere on CNN/US at 9pm ET/PT on December 4, and on CNN International at 0200 GMT on December 5.

Why they do not broadcast similar programs on Kurds sufferings in Iran, Anatolia and Syria?

Because only Iraqi Kurdistan has got their attention so far. Especially because of the Iraq war and the new Kurdish state.

But this is not a justifiable excuse. I think the reason is that, they are not willing to break heart of kemalists and fars people by broadcasting programs on sufferings of Kurdish people there.

They covered many genocides!

I'm very, very glad they reported on this!

Thank you http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_W._Galbraith, and thank you CNN for being brave!
