The journalist Albert Stol has quoted in his book[2], a several writers to investigate the origin of the name "Assyrians" by which the Nestorians are named. Albert Stol tells us that the present-day Chaldeans and the Nestortians belong to the same people. After the schism inside the Nestorian Church, the separated part called themselves however Chaldeans to express the difference between them and the other part of the Nestorians. The Chaldeans accepted after the schism, the authority of the Pope of Rome and they became in this way his subjects. Stol tells,, In the seventeenth century the Roman Catholic church decide to call the group, who was acceded to the Catholic Church, henceforth by the name "Chaldeans"; because the name Nestorians was a " heretical" name".

Oh i just forgot to mention that after the theorie of our friendyl "arameans"

the Assyrians fanished allllllllll away exactly at the time of 612 not one day later of one day before excaly at that time a Nation with more then 50 million hmm isnt that funny..

In this map, the Assyrian Empire is occupying the Hurrian and Medes (both Kurdistan lands). This does not mean they are 50 million. Be realistic: no ethnic group was in the 50 millions. It just means they are occupiers.

Yes from the Empire the population could be 50 million thats a realistic number isnt it?

Why doese it occupied Kurdistan? at that time there wasnt Kurdistan even known my dear friend there is Mada and Hurrian in it. But look were it shows Assyria and the cities of Assyria(homeland not empire) are nineveh,kalah,ashur,nuzi,arrapkha(kirkuk) ArbaElu is missing in it but that city hadnt such a big name at that time.

THIS IS THE EMPIRE OF MY ANCORST for sure it did occupied more lands thats noram by an Empire dont you think???

What i can tell you about Nineveh that only the city had more then 120 000 people just one city just imagine how much Babylon had it was pretty more inhabited then Nineveh or the Assyrian Religious Center and old capital Ashur :wink:

It occupies KURDISTAN because I am referring to the word by it's meaning, the land of the Kurds. Hurrian and Medes are both Kurdish ancestors, and therefore the lands which they lived in are Kurdish lands or Kurdistan. Thus, the Assyrian Empire occupied Kurdistan.
