One civilian shot by police after a new curfew in Cizre

Yet another curfew has been imposed on Sur and Yafes neighborhoods of Şırnak's Cizre district Tuesday evening.

While people remained on the streets after the beginning of the curfew, many flocked to markets to stock basic needs with experiences from previous periods of curfew in recent months.

In both neighborhoods which house 30 thousand people, masses remain on the streets and protest the never-ending repression and state of emergency executed by state forces.

As police teams have already started an aggression against the people, a civilian by the name of Yusuf Kara was wounded as a result of armed attack by police.

After hospital staff didn't risk going to the scene for lack of life safety, the people around managed to take Kara to ambulance through their own means.

Kara has been taken under treatment at Cizre state hospital.
