North Kurdistan: In one of Batman Province's boroughs, Kozluk (village of "Yanikkaya"), 8 primary school children have been punished with a three day ban from school after making a drawing using the colours Red, Yellow & Green - Kurdish national colours (click link to see drawing)...

The Drawing:

The floor is in red, yellow and green tiles. A rainbow in red, yellow and green bends over an APPLE (red), a PEAR (green) and a BANANA (yellow)...

This is why these 8 children are prohibited from attending school for 3 days...

Everybody talked about the English teacher in Sudan who faced accusation because in her classroom the kids called a teddy-bear "Mohammed"... In fact, Turkey could be a good pupil of Sudan...

 how can they possibly defend that decision? Let's say the children actually did intend to make it in "kurdish colours" ehh - it's not allowed to simply be a kurd? [-X

In the 90's - Turkey changed it's traffic lights from being RED, YELLOW and GREEN to:

RED
YELLOW
BLUE

Yeah it was in Shirnax. But it made a such mess in trafic that the vali should stop it.

Another time, a Member in Parliament asked to the ministry of Education to withdraw all the Mathematics books for pupils, where there were "p" and "k" leters in geometry lessons...
And recently, there were charges also againt a mayor next to Diyarbakir who made built a swimming pool "with the shape of Kurdistan map" ! So in the trial, judges asked to see how was Kurdistan and they asked policemen to find them a Kurdish map. :) I imagine the policemen looking for it in Kurdish shops : "Lütfen : Have you got a Kurdistan map ?"
