Zakho crowned champion in Iraqi junior basketball competitio

ERBIL, September 5 (AKnews) – The head of the Iraqi Basketball Federation said Zakho Basketball Club was crowned champion of the Iraqi junior basketball clubs competition.
Hussein al-Ameedi said: "Al-Bdair came in second place in the competition and Anbar club al-Wahda took third place."
In another tournament, Al-Karkh Club for under 20s was crowned champion in the Baghdad clubs tournament, which took place at al-Shorta Club's stadium in Baghdad.
Al-Karkh was crowned champion after defeating al-Hdoud 57-56 points in the final.
Al-Ameedi added: Dujail Club came third in the tournament following a win against al-Armani 59-55 points.
