This forum is sure as hell history...The two bitches-Piling and Anthea- are annoying. Aren't there French forums for you, Piling? And Anthea stop with your emoticon bullshit, this isn't a fairy tale, stop living in your own world, stupid British thing. Cewlik, the Islamic extremist bastard, get a life, and stop ass-licking King Abdullah of Saudi Xara.
Now ban me, this forum is useless anyway, the important members are gone :P

Pilling, you don't happen to be the user on the guardian, with the user name 'laguerre'?

No, I always use the same nickname (Piling) for all forums, or my real name, and on twitter MickKelly3 (tribute to Carson McCullers). Moreover I would have never used a so ugly name :-D (for non french speaker la guerre = the war)

Do you see that this silly person complains about me using smilies then uses one himself 8-}

He MUST be TURKISH because NO Kurdish man has ever treated me with such disrespect.

In fact Kurdish men never show any lady disrespect, it is NOT in the Kurdish culture to treat ladies in such a SHAMEFUL manner.

I also think Syria and Iran are most likely behind this, Iran is especially good at it. They have the most to lose if turkey and PKK reach a deal and they're not happy about it. Hopefully the real truth will be revealed.

It is with great sadness that I am impelled to return to the murder of these unarmed Kurdish ladies and try to make some sense of it.

I fear that this might not be an isolated indent, and other Kurds working in other similarly connected centres throughout Europe could also become targets.

Was the target the centre itself and anyone who happened to be on the premises at the time?

Was Sakine Cansiz the target, would they have known that she was actually going to be in the centre?

Was Fidan Dogan the target, she is more likely to have been expected to be there and as a member of National Kurdistan Congress, she is also a high profile target. Especially as KNC believes in an Independent Kurdistan and some of its members might not agree with the thought of Kurds in NK giving in yet again to Turkish control?

Was Leyla Soylemez the target for some unknown reason. Or perhaps the target because of her connection to the centre. Perhaps the killers though that she was alone on the premises?

Let us also think about these ladies families in our prayers.

According to Murat Karayilan this is the work of Turkish Gladio AKA Counter-Guerilla. They have done these kinds of extrajudicial and unsolved murdering on Kurdish high profiles many time. Their name is controversial. Even though they are supposed to counter the guerilla, the majority of their targets are Kurdish activists.

The images of the Turkish protests in France pops up in my mind. Nationalist Turks protested against the newly introduced law regarding the Armenian genocide. There are certainly angered nationalist Turks in France who'm do not appreciate the thought of Ocalan/PKK to determine the future of Turkey.

As to my opinion regarding the "door" mystery... a person could easily pretend being a neighbor, police or whom'ever to enter the premises of the Kurdish Information Center. Eventually shoot the victims, search for keys and lock the door. I find it hard to believe that there is intra-PKK freud at the current (early) stage of the so called peace talks.

Do keep in mind that the intel agencies in EU and Turkey are well aware of the occurrence. If it was a Intra-PKK conflict, these agencies would have been well aware of that and media outlets would have been updated. Although, nothing has been presented by these agencies as of yet, therefor my conscious tells me this is not an intra-PKK conflict and something more complicated.

Wish the best to all Kurds in France and to you Pilling.

Okay. I'm sorry if I made you feel violated, but I had a suspicion that it was you. Because of replies such as these:

And you evidently don't know the Kurds. They are very clannic. The Barzanis and the Talebanis don't speak to one another. There was endless infighting - carried out with the guns that male Kurds seem to need to express their masculinity, and with the inevitable deadly results - right up to the point where the Americans convinced them in 2002-3 to unite, and thus weaken Iraq. If that re-emerges, who's surprised? My Kurdish student (from the Institut Kurd de Paris) warned me some years ago, and here you see the result.

It's pretty certainly an internal reckoning of accounts. I know that institute well. No Turks would dare to breech the walls. It is just Kurdish propaganda that everyone on the Guardian seems ready to swallow whole that the Turks were responsible.

Since you said it was an internal problem and that you knew the institute very, I thought it was you and that I have met a fellow RBK user. Especially since that person said "My Kurdish student (from the Institut Kurd de Paris)".

I don't feel offended. Piling is just a nickname for the fun (my cat's name) but i always write openly with own face and my own site :

http://sohrawardi.blogspot.fr

And I don't read the Guardian and never post on its website.

Concerning the guy you mention : Institute has not 'students' as if we were a school or a university. But every year, we give to 5 or 7 scholarship to brilliant Kurdish students without money and they come from their Kurdish country (Except the South since 2004) and study freely in French universities. But they study outside, not in our place.

here are only Kurdish courses opened to everybody tuesday and friday evening in the institute : just language courses. Personnaly I don;t give courses, I am at the head of the library.

Since 1980s many Kurds are former students of the Institute (and among them many well known Kurds who still speak a good French, for example Ferhad Pirbal in Erbil). They are from all origins, and share different political opinions, the Institute don't care of that, they have just to be good in their work and achieved a good phd ;).
