Öcalan'ın avukatlarının 27 Temmuz 2011 tarihinden bu yana (489 gündür) müvekkilleri ile görüşmek için yaptıkları başvurular, "gemi bozuk", "hava muhalefeti", "gemi onarımda" ve "gemi onarımdan döndü, ancak geminin Liman Başkanlığı'ndan alınması gereken evrakları eksik olduğu için faaliyet yapamıyor" veya "resmi tatil" gibi gerekçelerle engelleniyor.
