Iraqi Kurdistan has flourished economically in the decade since the US-led invasion, but even before that it had been enjoying a large degree of autonomy.
The region's stability has encouraged foreign investment and many ambitious construction projects are planned for the future - but does all this mean Kurdistan is leaving the rest of Iraq behind?

South Kurdistan should become more powerful politically, militarily and economically.
To improve the economy, SK must develop its industry outside the oil and gas businesses, so that SK is not dependent on the natural resources which are not there forever.
SK should develop its metal, Concrete and asphalt industries, like they show it in the report, but they must also crate new industries, so that SK can build its own kitchen Appliances, Construction equipments, cars and more things one day.
And to develop the military, SK needs of course heavy weapons. Its difficult to get them, but they must try it. The best would be to create a own Kurdish Arms industry, they can start with producing light guns and then continue with heavy weapons.
Maybe it will need decades to establish all that, but the Kurds must have big goals and they must work hard to reach such goals to develop Kurdistan, then everything is possible.

I just think it is terribly sad that Kurds in SK are doing so well and the Kurds in Turkey will be left with nothing
