Vladimir Vlad/Velat - "Homeland" and Mir - "Mîr" "King/Agha/Lord" - "Kings/Aghas/Lords Homeland"
It can also be : "Homeland of the King/Agha/Lord"
You can choose which one you like the best.... but the latter is the interpretation done word by word...

Your name: Vlad and Mîr - If your read Vlad with a "t" instead of a "d" and add a "e" it will be Velat -and this means "homeland"(some even pronounce it "Vlad" ( Sorani you don't even write the "e" in latin script) and the you have "Mîr" which means "King/Agha/Lord"...

My grandfather was a Mîr... that was untill Turkey asked him to come to Ankara for signing an agreement - only he was tricked there to be killed by the Turkish Goverment... Those BASTARDS! They can't even do politics without violence...

My friend is Agha a Kurdish word or??

In old Germanic it's Waldemar or Valdemar.
Wald (waldan) means ruling in Germanic and mar means famous. So it means famous ruler.
So it's almost the same. But Welatêmîr is the translation of it right?
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Agha is a word used by kurds ALL over Kurdistan... now I can't say that I am an expert - however Agha is a word more common in eastern Kurdistan - SO I am guesing that it might be either Kurdish or Persian...

The right translation would be Welatêmîr - yes :D

Meaning - Welat- country/homeland if you add the "ê" it would mean "country/homeland of" and then you add Mîr - and it becomes "Country/Homeland of (the) King"...

Okey so let's say we are BROTHERs... but that doesn't mean that I have the right to judge him...

I wouldn't have don either... I would only make him see that it is wrong to do so...
