We had thunder storms with hail but still no snow where I am - perhaps tomorrow we will be lucky and our world will turn into a white wonderland

I am reading Great Expectations. Indeed, I love Dickens. Until now David Copperfield is my favorite, but in Oliver Twist, Fagin's execution, Nancy and Sikes' death are unforgettable.

I reach the half of Great Expectations and I like Herbert Pocket. I hope that someone hit Estella's ass at the end.

Exhausted. Came at home at 9. pm. 2 suicides on East railways : 1 by a human, the other by a boar.

We had enough with depressed morons. If even wild beasts blocked our transport with their bad mood, where are we going ?

I do not know why people would decide to end their lives in such a gruesome way

Think of the friends and relations who have to identify that person

Think of the poor train driver who might never recover from the shock

Think of the poor people who have to clean up all the bits of flesh and bones from the track and the train

Think of those who witness the suicide - they might have nightmares for the rest of their lives

I dread the thought that an innocent child should ever see such a thing

If a woman feels to commit suicide because of something that a man has done to her - often the case I gather - go and kill the man instead of destroying so many innocent lives

That is also a fact which I can not understand : why some people decide to die in such horrible ways, like train, or fire or jumping from a window ? And when they survive they are mutilated and disabled for the rest of their life. There are more comfortable and safer protocoles.
