My thoughts of the day

This is where you can talk about every subject (previously it was called shout room)

Since sunday, summer time. I hate that : losing one hour of sleep at morning, and at evening, could not sleep soon.

WHY COULD NOT WE LIVE WITH THE SUN ?

"THE SUN" I remember hearing about that when I was a child. A sort of fireball in the sky and I believe people used to worship it :shock:

So long since anyone here has actually seen the sun it's appearance has become a fairy tale. Something to frighten the children with when the do something wrong, "If you so that again, the big yellow fireball will come into the sky and burn you up."

Unfortunately, I cannot understand a word BUT the picture appears to be a map of the proposed pipeline, and it makes me realise that it Kurds in North Kurdistan had their traditional homelands returned to them, Kurdish oil would be able to travel entirely through Kurdish land to reach the sea :D

Thanks, I have no TV but I could find the show on line and put a link here.
There are already their maps here :

It is a very good show about geo-strategy and they made many reports about Kurdistan (all parts). This one talks about S. Kurdistan and its possible future as an independent state.

WOW you do not have a TV and I used to think I was the only sane person left in the world :ymdevil:

Actually you might have mentioned it before :D

I keep having rude letters from the TV licensing people because I do not posses a TV licence. They cannot get it through their heads that not everyone spends their entire life in front of a TV =))

I keep telling people to switch off their TVs and switch on their brains 8-}

Well TV is boring me and I rather to read or listening radio. When I visit relatives or friends' home who have TV I find it more and more stupid. You learn nothing on TV, Internet is 500% better.

AGREED :ymhug:

I strongly dislike visiting people and having to sit quietly while they watch an assortment of soap operas and other such rubbish. I find the reality shows and the game shows to be the worst, and I normally go into their kitchens and raid the biscuit jar when they come on :ymdevil:

That show is terrible. Like a really terrible interpersonal fictional character POV of Machiavellian geopolitics and politics. Alot of people i know watch it, how can you watch 40 minutes of boring eloquent English people being perverted and dramatic.

I've read the five big books before watching the show. Thousands and thousands of pages :D I love perverted and dramatic stories, I am even writing such perverted tales :lol:

And I am impatient to read the 6th and 7th tomes. Too bad that George R. Martin is so lazy and slow for writing. I hope he won't die before he finishes.
