I have a question, who knows beautiful baby names of boys in kuirdish.
that with R starts. as you also know the meaning..

Here are some beautiful male Kurdish names starting with the letter 'R':


Rênas = Road aquianted
Ronî = Light
Rê/Rêga/Rêke = Road
Rêzan = Road knower
Rêber = Guide
Raz = Cliff
Reng = Color
Rojhat = Sunrise
Rojnû = New Sun
Rojan = Sunny
Rêz = Respect
Rûbar = River
Rêwan = Guide
Rastî = Truth
Rûken/Rûxend = Smiling Face
Roşen = Enlightened/Intellectual
Roger = Planet/Earth (literally means: "that which circles the sun")

And there are many more... :wink:

I forgot to add that "Rê/Rêga/Rêke" also can mean "Path" or "Trail", "Lane" or even "Passage" or "Route"...

So the words which contain the word "Rê" can be interpreted according to wish... :)

WHAT DOES ZANA MEAN???

Hi

I'm hoping somebody can help me. I would like to call my baby boy "Zana" which I think is a beautiful name. Does anyone know what this name means please? I would like to know what it means......

Maybe someone know the meaning of this names:
Nasrin
Seiran or Sairan
Sarahan
Kemran

Nesrîn = Name of a flower (I will post a picture of it later so you know which one it is! :) )
Seyran = Picnic / Enjoyment in nature

I will look into the meanings of the two other names you have asked for - although "Sarahan" probably is just a Sara + Xan (Khan) = "Madam Sara" - Sara being a Semitic name... :)

I think Nesrîn = Name of a flower is a nice name and meaning a kind of flower...Hope someone post the image of that flower and meaning too...I like that name idea... :D

nesrîn is from persian name nasrin nasreen which means a wild rose. azeris spell it nazrin. turks and kurds try to say nesrin is turkish and kurdish but it is origin is persian. i did fast search and found this thread with some pictures:

Zana means someone who is very wise and intelligent and in kurdish we call scientist (Zana)!
It is a male name and i think only Kurds are using the name. I have a feeling Persian might use the name too but the chances are very slim.
