Words I do not know in Kurdish

I this thread you can post words you do not know in Kurdish and other member will try to help . Please do not hesitate and I think it will help us all improve our language .

can someone help me with these two words and it does not matter if it is sorani or Kurmanji . Thanks in advance

Exaggerate :

Double , triple :

Exaggerate: pêwey enê , pêwey denê , petî bo rra ekêşê

petî bo rra mekêşê : dont exaggerate

Double: dû car , dwane also means twice

triple : sê car , syane also means 3 times

we use mostly duqat, sêqat, çarqat and so, the qat here is turkish. but this is also used in kurmanci litterature and TV.

we use also sêcar lê, ducar lê, çarcar lê. (ducar li ...ê = double as ......)

to double = cot kirin

for exagerate we use pirheldan and pirkirin,as slang we say: lê çi kirin

We use the word "duqat" too , but it is definitly turkish and even arab use it . As for sêcar lê or ,ducar lê that is like saying two times or three times beside using "lê" turkify's the kurdish word . The proper way would be sêcarê and ducarê .

I'm not too sure from the word "cot kirin" which could be "com kirin" = "combining" or "adding it all together" .

I love these new words : pirheldan , nepixandin (ballooning ) . I got an email today from a kurdish friend who said that the most accurate and widly used is "Mezinkerdin" .

that is iraqi arab dialect . The kurdish kurmaji word for river will be "Çem " where Ç is pronounce as "ch" . The sorani one I'm not too sure , so I will wait for heval alan .

by the way we use "rrêsa" as well for Law ... : Yasa û rrêsa.

loanwords are not allways bad. sometimes it can be smarter than finding new kurdish words for it. and there are some words that are realy integrated in the kurdish language that it will be silly to remove.

but yes, ducare is also good alternative. i believe there are not so many who uses pirheldan but its sounds very good in accurat in our dialect. very good word.

we use com for lost/wanted but i could not find it on online ferheng.

Your telling me Shet is arabic? Lol. The arab word is Bahar, not Shet. That is Kurd Fayli. I don't know where you get arabic from.
