Persians in Shiraz city [center city of persians ethinc ] say Kako for brother.

my persian languge professor said Kako is a mingol word and it means brother minoglic .


i wonder if Kaka in Kurdish is also mingolic or not .

Well, I just avoid to tell kaka to someone, for it is seem strange to me to call like that a friend but in french kak is ok, no meaning.

In French the name PKK sounds funny too, for we spell k "ka". So we say Pékaka... and it's ugly !

But Kak doesn't sounds like the Dutch word Kak.. and I just use Kako.. Kak isn't so used so much in Holland anyway.

Kake, is a Kurdish word, mainly used in Soranî dialect. It is used very casualy these days, even girls calling girls for "Kako" "Kaka" and other variations of the word on the internet.

Kake is another word for "brother". It has developed to become more than an intimate classification of somebody. In earlier times - one would use the term for people which one was in personal contact with - much like the Turkich "abi" ("big brother"), it shows respect...

So Kake, is not a Mongol word, nor is it Turkic. For this to be true, one would expect that Turkic people would still use this term. Which is a negative, they don't use it...

But a word which in fact is Turkic or Mongol - is a word used MUCH more than "Kake" in Kurdish (alos used by Kurmancî and Zazakî speakers, in e.g. Bakûrî's):

"Khan/Xan" and "Khanim/Xanim" - these are in their roots Turkic. It was bought to Kurdistan, India, Persia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and many more by the likes of the raiding Jengiz Khan and other (barbar) Turkic peoples...
