The interesant thing is, that "kaynak" does exist only in Turkey Turkish and Azerish, and that "kendi" only in Turkey Turkish.

Very interesting info's Heval. To ra sipas! In addition, I like to inform you of Azerbaijani pronounciations which can tell on borrowing:
axsham / aqsham = evening
qarpyz = melon
qan = blook
qarshi = itch
but I think "kul" ~ "ash" may be removed from the list, since in Azerbaijani it's also "kul".

thanks for the infos, i think that "kül" can comes from iranic xwel-, maybe from sogdian?

Ure welcome bro. Well, it's possible, though I dont have a Sogdian dictionary to look it up. I hope to buy a Sogdian dictionary very soon.
