The best one has been published in London by Baran Rizgarî some years ago. But it is absolutely out of order, or may be you could find old exemplaries selling on Internet by people. BTW, I can look tomorrow if others has been published and could be ordered.

You should purchase Michael Chyet's book:

You can find it on most online bookstores...

Chyet's work is good, but only from Kurdish to English. It semems that Dyaoko seeks for the contrary ?

I need English- Kurmanci , actually I am going to be a member of a translator team , we are working to make Kurdish Linux .

[linux is an open source operating softawre simmilar to winows , but it is Free and Open and you can transalte it to your own language [unlike windows] ]

so I need one , I would be thankfull if you forward me to a place which I can buy it [online.]

did you say its language is Turkish ? ha ha ha shit ... I guess the publisher hadnt dared to say Kurdish is a language... [right now Turkey belives kurdish is a Dailect of Turkish (before 2001 they belived there is no kurd...after their fake reforms they belvie it is a dailect of turkish...)]

I read the Amazon's reviews , most of the users recommended Baran Rizagri's dictioanrty, unfrotunately they are out of order ...

There is an English to Kurdish section in Chyet's dictionary as well. It is not as in-depth but it helps a lot !

a couple of years ago, i had to order baran rizgar's Learn Kurdish/Dersên Kurdî through amazon.uk because, although at the time his dictionary was available from amazon in the us, his Dersên Kurdî was only available through amazon.uk.

i really like his little dictionary and it has a grammar section in the back. i have been tempted to get dr. chyet's dictionary, but i feel that it might be too advanced for me at this point. maybe someone who knows that dictionary might advise me if it's worth getting.

Chyet's dictionnary is very literary. He took most examples of sentence from Mamê Alan or expressions from the country ...

Rizgari's is very good for learning with a lot of useful modern words. And his dicitonnay is smaller and easier to manipulate.

I would say that Chyet's one is aiming to advanced Kurdish studies.

Chyet's dictionary is wonderful and possibly the most extensive Kurdish dictionary in existence. For learning Kurmancî, Baran Rizgar's book is great. However, if you wish to increase your vocabulary of the Kurdish language, I would highly recommend Chyet's Dictionary.

I have only one complaint about Chyet's dictionary. There are several words that I, personally, have noticed and feel are missing and should have been included. Nevertheless, I still think it is a good dictionary.

ufortunately amazon doenst ship to Iran... i dont know why ... they even have afghanistan on their list but not iran.
