this is a great website i use to type Sorani and latin .

i have created a keyboard for latin kurdish, if you want download>

it very easy to write with it, if you write sh it turns automatic to ş;

ch turns to ç
uu turns to û
ei turns to ê
ii turns to î

but if when you type e,u,c,s,i you cant first see the key, you can only see it when you write another character or space.

it tells me the installer needs to be restarted !!

i had no problem with it sorry. i have not programmed it by my self. i created it on a program called microsoft keyboard layout creator. but its the setup.exe file that needs to be clicked.

i downloaded it , how do i use it from where !?

if you have installed, click right the language box in the start-menu line down. than settings - add - click any language (example english) - click show more- click kurdi - than OK - OK.

then you can change your keyboard anytime you want, just clicking the language box as EN or the keyboard icon that are created in the start menu line. if you get in trouble again, i can post images.

by the way, there is other homepage, its very smart, it converts sorani-arabic internet sites to sorani-latin. its easier to me read that: http://ferheng.org/

my pc is xp so this got downloaded but my laptop is win 7 and it wont work , does anyone else here have latin keyboard on their win 7 !!??

i have installed it on my win 7 with no problems. so it work now on your xp but not win 7? can you see the language and keyboard icon?

i cant install it and cant find it either as

it tells me the dll file already exists in the system directory

hmmm. i am not PC or IT-specialist but you click on setup.exe and than it tell that? maybe you have installed it already but i dont know. i tried now again to install in worked well.

ok i have downloaded in on my pc which is xp and it is in the language bar as well , but it does not work just types in english anything else i have to do to make it work !!

I just click the keyboard icon, and than i click "American (international) - custom". if i want the standard back, i click "Dansk".

Sorry i forgot to name it kurdi, so the keyboards name is "American (international) - custom".

If you dont have the keyboard icon. Then add a new language, not english. example just german. and then add "American (international) - custom" and remove the german keyboard.
