i want to learn Kurdish Latin Script ,

I have downloaded this keyboard and instaelld it
from here http://www.kurditgroup.org/downloads.php?cid=1

and now I have it but I dont know how to put speciall characters....anybody knows how ?

for example what should I pres to have R' or S, ?

Kurdish latin script?

I can't read the Arabic script.. but I just downloaded - and it said - "You don't need the Tomaha update as your system is a new (XP) version. I kiss you"

All in Soranî Latin script - except the "I kiss you" part...

But anyway - What I am wondering is: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??? You obviously CAN write the R as it is supposed to be in Latin Kurdish script... Do you have TWO R's in Arabic script???

(FOR SORANÎ) LL ll - "Tall" in Kurdish it is found in words such as: "Tall" (BITTER) "Gellek" (MUCH) "All" (FLAG)
M m - "Man"
N n - "Night"
O o - "Order"
P p - "Party"
Q q - THEY DON'T HAVE THIS SOUND IN ENGLISH It is like when we say "Qaz"(DUCK) "Qotî" (BOX) "Qelem"(PENSEL) "Qanûn" (LAW) (Arabic word ) etc.... Go figure!
R r - "Rare"
S s - "Save"
,S ,s - "Share"
T t - "Take"
U u - "Turn"
Û û - "Two"
V v - "Veteran"
W w - "War"
X x - THEY DON'T HAVE THIS SOUND IN ENGLISH - It is usally made into "KH" when this sound is used in names of people in in English: "Kh(X)atemî" and in Kurdish it is used in these words: "Xua/Xuda" (GOD) "Xatir"(MEMORY) "Xizmet"(SERVICE) "Xor"(SUN - SORANÎ) "Xendan"(SUGER BOWL)
Y y - "Yard"
Z z - "Zebra" - "Zebarî"

And this concludes the Kurdish sounds... They total 31-32...(If you count the Soranî "LL" "ll")

by the way my question was about how to Type those things


i have installed the Kurdish Latin keyborad....

I have found some of the letters like

to î I press '
or for û i press [

but I dont know how to type other letters like ll or rr

i downloaded my kurdish keyboard from kurd it group

well I have not the same problems because in a French key board we have î ô û, and ç (but not in capital).

The only real problem is S, (sh)... so I see that most sites now write it like that : s+, .

But that is no problem - Just write SH and CH...
