Assyrian flag used by Kurds

I saw a big Assyrian flag at a PKK demonstration on Roj TV. And at Ibrahim Tatlises's concert there was a big Assyrian flag too. (IN Arbil/Hewler).
Why?
Why?
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

there is a "batalion" of Assyrian members in the PKK. And they have their own Assyrian broadcast on that TV.
