PostAuthor: Vladimir » Sun Nov 27, 2005 10:35 pm

LONG LIVE PKK
LONG LIVE OCALAN

Read it all in Turkish here: http://www.pkk.org/

!
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

According to Saywan Barzani, the representative of KRG for France, there are offocially 37,000 peshmergas belonging to PUK and between 50 and 60 000 peshmergas for the KDP. But he adds that only 15,000 of them had been really trained and are ready to fight.

Concerning the PKK, difficult to say, we have only the Turks and PKK's statement and they are inclined to raise the number... Kurds from Southern Kurdistan think that they could be between 3000 and 5000...

Even if it is a lie - the numbers: 120 000 in South Kurdistan wouldn't be a lie if there WAS a war... It would be EVERY Kurd if there was a war... 8)

And the likely numbers for PKK would be around 15 000... Call it propaganda - but 50 000 is the real propaganda... :P
