There is one Saladin North of Hawler on the hills AKA Pir Mem. And the other one is the province of Saladin with its center tikrit.

Salahaddin's figure seems to have a great success in Iraq and Kurdistan, only Shiites don't care of him !

Results from Diaspora :

Kurds win most votes in Iraqi diaspora elections

The Kurdish alliance took the lead with over a third of the votes in Iraq's special elections involving expatriates, soldiers, hospitals and detainees, according to results announced Monday by the electoral commission.

Alongside Iraq's regular parliamentary elections, there were special elections held for Iraqis living abroad from December 13 to 15, while soldiers, detainees and hospital residents voted on December 12.

According to election commission spokesman Farid Ayar, the Kurdish Alliance took 36.56 percent of the vote while the conservative Shiite United Iraqi Alliance took 30.28 percent. The list of former prime minister Iyad Allawi came in third with 11.10 percent.

Ayar said that 319,000 Iraqis voted abroad in 50 different cities across 15 countries.

Partial results for the main elections gave a strong showing for the UIA in Baghdad and in the south, while the Kurdish list was the overwhelming victor in the northern Kurd-dominated provinces.

Allawi's list, as in the special elections, rarely garnered more than 10 percent of the vote, while the Sunni Arab parties did well in the three strongly Sunni provinces.

A group of 42 parties, particularly Allawi's list and the Sunni parties, are contesting the election results, maintaining they were falsified to the advantage of the Shiites. (AFP)

What made you think it's Iraqi? If you look below his right arm, you can see a little bit of yellow from our sun

good job ! you are right , it is kurdish sun , the thing that made me suspect is the red color, kurdish flag Red color is brighter than Iraqi flag Red Color .

by the way, the flags that are produced in south kurdistan are so low quality... I have some of them in TV , they are like been painted by a child.

in every country of the world they have a DEDICATED factory , ,JUST to produce their flag, I know about irans' factory it is full advanved and all is done by machines.
not by kindergarden children ... :P

i belive , good quality , beautifull flags can raise COMMON ppl's natinalism.
